It is a perfect little sandy beach in a quaint new england town. Definitely worth visiting. People were very accommodating, and friendly. Definitely going back.

Rocky beaches are not my thing. It was beautiful though.

Is this beach good for 5 year olds

I think it's fine, it's right next to anchored boats and where the ferry takes off, so the sand is not as clean as other beaches in the area, but the water is very calm and there's still plenty of shells and room for families to spread out on the beach.

I've never had a problem bringing mine, and there is a poop glove dispenser just by the boat ramp, so I would assume yes.
