Cute little hotel the manager is a very nice polite guy helped with anything we needed the only goofy thing is the bathrooms in the rooms dont have doors but i nice little hotel an great manager

We were denied a room because the attendant refused to accept my Drivers license saying I "looked like a black man." He then threatened to call the sheriff's department, and ran us off the property. My girlfriend has been a repeat customer for years and recommended this hotel so she is mortified.

I always enjoy staying at the New Rome Motel. The owners are always very nice and the prices to stay there for the night or for there weekly rates are great. The cheapest around. I also like the location of where the motel is at. Its right of west broad street. Right on the bus line and around plenty of restaurants and stores with in walking distance. I can't wait to stay there again. And I highly recommend to anyone to stay there.

I don't see anyone breaking into your room and doing things to you, i wouldn't keep valuable items visible in your car through windows nor have a lot of interaction with the other people. Its a fairly run down roadside motel in a neighborhood that is near a casino (about a mile west) and trending down a bit from working class. I have seen street drug deals happen there and women of the evening work out if there. But you should be safe unless you are stupidly waving valuables, or getting in other people's business.
