I have a great primary care doc but for certain quick things I've gone to Zugan for several years and always got fast, competent and friendly service. Recently I have found it to be the best way by far to get a COVID test. Make an appointment, even the same day. A knowledgeable doc comes out quickly and takes the swab for a test that fits your situation and symptoms. You're done and gone in no time. The result, more reliable than a home test, comes quickly by email and phone call.

Was nervous about this place as it is full of pseudoscience marketing, including a CBD water dispenser in the lobby, and selling vitamin injections with trendy new age names. Not inspiring confidence from the start, but I needed help quickly. Receptionist took my insurance info and scheduled an early morning appt. When I arrived the next day I was told that my insurance only covers appts from noon-close, but they would still help me. After sitting in the waiting room a while, they changed their mind and turned me away, while suggesting my symptoms are outside their ability. Why they didn't tell me either of these things the day I scheduled, I don't know. I took a half day off work so this was worse than a waste of time. I now have to scramble to try and take care of myself, worried, while losing even more money.

This does doctors office used to be really good I’ve been there several times. But unfortunately a new provider has taken over and their service is now awful. Personally I think the doctor isn’t keeping up there Hippocratic oath. Refusing to help someone looking to quit smoking cigarettes you should be ashamed of yourself. I will have words to say to the board. And add insult to injury trying to lie to them about it. Shaking my head. I’m one of the million Americans who don’t have health insurance and you turned me away and lied to me wow.

We strongly encourage you to please make an appointment online at www.zuganhealth.com prior to arriving to ensure you are seen at the time that works best for your schedule. We do take walk-in patients, but you will still have to register online once you arrive to schedule for the next available appointment. We are not contracted with Anthem Blue Cross. We can still see you as a patient, but it would be as an out-of-network provider. We are contracted with Blue Shield of California PPO (we do not participate with Covered CA, ePPO, and certain Individual Family Plans). If your plan is part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield network, please call the clinic at 805-395-4946 to provide us with your insurance number. We can check which insurance, either Blue Shield of California or Anthem Blue Cross administers your plan benefits.
