The Magnolia of Millbrae

Great place! My mother has lived here 4 years and she is very happy. The food is excellent, the employees are caring, and there are lots of interesting speakers and outings. Best of all, the other people who live there are, in general, quite active and engaging. The holiday party in December is amazing, and the celebrations throughout the year are festive. Sherry Plambeck, one of the Magnolia's executives, is one our favorites: caring, professional, and very pleasant. When my mother needed more help, she really didn't want to leave her house of 40+ years, but she enjoys her life at Magnolia, especially the built-in community of friends, the many activities, and the fact that she doesn't have to deal with the hassles of home ownership. I couldn't recommend the Magnolia more.
