Nice community of Catholic people. Only thing did not like was pushing of spending money in gift shop and such.

Never have I ever dealt with such financial discrimination by a church. As a Catholic church member since birth, I have never ever heard of a church that turns away children from both baptism and religious education. My older son made his first communion there, and he was registered for CCD class for the upcoming school year. Around the same time, his little brother was going to be baptized. The church office called to inform us that they would not be allowing my son to continue CCD and that due to lack of donations, my newborn would not be baptized either. This was after they cashed my "donation" check for the CCD supplies (trying to get that money back took almost a full year). My youngest son was born with a deformity and his very expensive corrective equipment is deemed cosmetic by the insurance companies. He now needs surgery for it. So, please tell me where in the Bible God and Jesus turned children away from learning about and being brought into their faith because they didn't donate enough? Are children not born without sin? So my children are being religiously punished for their parents lack of documented donations by a church adorned with marble and gold statues, LED lights, and multiple gardens? Forget trying to speak with one of the famed fathers of the church...they must be too busy making their priest wine, coffee, or soap. My husband wrote a review as well, and their response was that it was covid related. That is a lie since my youngest was to be baptized in 2019. Nice try St Thomas. I flew my children to Massachusetts where my youngest was baptized without prejudice at his father's family church. They were horrified when I told them the story of being denied a holy sacrament for a newborn and religion class for a child.

The bishop wrote a letter suggesting wearing a mask for those who have not been vaccinated and those who have been vaccinated can do either. The pastor suggested to do social distancing, use caution, and wear one of it makes you feel you need it...in other words "use common sense".
