Rooms are definitely overpriced for that area. Can't step out because there are people out there asking for money pretty scary. Front desk can use people with better attitudes. But then again what can you ask for in that neighborhood? I've been to better cheap motels

I visited this hotel in Miami for a funeral. The place is very old. They are under construction and boy do they need it. Lobby very small. Breakfast area very small with only 3 tables. The room had a SPIDER on my son's pillow!!! He took a pic of this and I showed front desk personnel. She was shocked! The other associate said "welcome to Florida!" This was in no way funny. I stated that I should receive at least a 10% discount or another room. They gave all of us another room. Another issue is there are NO charging outlets. And only one small garbage can! I have definitely been in better hotels and maybe after the renovation they will be better. But for now🙃😒😩 if you need just a place to stay, it's okay but just check for the critters! 🕷
