It’s been over a year since i visited but I can’t stop thinking about how awful the staff were in front. Everyone else was great but staff in front were talking about patients. They were specifically talking about (my reason for visiting) and that they thought the person before me was here for (my reason to visit) which is a weird thing to talk about all together but contextually it was even worse. I was sitting at the back of the room, so I know everyone else heard the same conversation. They need to know people can hear them when they talk. Again everyone else was great but I felt really disrespected by the front staff and hope they’ve since had training related or said employee investigated and fired.

Excellent and amazingly supportive staff, but impossible to get in contact with or receive medications from. Any time I need a prescription updated or refilled, no matter how far out I call (and leave a message mind you, seeing as I've never had someone directly pick up my call even when on hold for upwards of two hours), I am always late on my prescription and am then put in a very compromised position due to needing that medication or else being in significant pain. I love planned parenthood and will always support their mission as an organization, but it's hard not to be frustrated working with them no matter how friendly they are because I'm still not really getting the care I need. I can only imagine what it would be like if you needed more urgent care like an abortion or immediate HIV exposure treatment.

Medical professionals doing the best they can to care for the women of Nebraska despite low funding and hostile conservative extremists.

I had to come back twice for IUD, they tried to force an IUD in me that wouldn’t fit and I had to yell at them to take it out, one of the most painful experiences I have ever had, but they treated me after with ice packs and a snack cause I about fainted. I came back a 3rd time for an implant instead, and then I find out my insurance (United healthcare platinum) won’t cover it because the person who was there that day wasn’t even trained to do so, and I was then asked if I had Medicaid because then that might be able to cover it, when the true problem is that they are offering people to get implants installed by untrained people. One of the girls who pried my cervix open was very nice but had to be 18-20. There is a lack of experience on the staff there, and it’s scary. If you are looking to get an IUD or implant, or anything invasive, go to Lincoln Womens Health at Bryan or an experienced NP, PA or OBGYN

Don't let Raneen's reply scare you. You just fill out some paperwork and it's a sliding pay scale from there. I've been going there since I was in high school, I've never paid that much. I've only paid maybe $100 throughout my years of going there. They'll take care of you.

They take insurance if you have it and want to use it. If not, they do things with a sliding pay scale. Don't let Raneen scare you, I don't know what their issue is, but they are clearly spreading false information. I've been going to planned parenthood since I was in high school, they've are kind, honest, and take care of us.

Does Planned Parenthood do mammograms and Pap smears and if so do they charge if a person doesn’t have

Hi! As a patient there I can answer that. They do! They can do things on a sliding pay scale and will work with you! No need to fear. You'll just fill out some paperwork for it.

Why is the customor service so bad here? Also why is it so exspensive compared to others? Lastly, why does it take hours to get called back the more hours to handle your appointment? It should not take 5 hours that’s kust horrible working.

As a patient there, I've never had that experience, I'm sorry that you had to deal with that. My best guess is that they were swamped and under staffed at that time.

I believe to get birth control just like anywhere you would need to see a doctor first.
