The issues with the site are not bugs, they are the feature! The whole system is specifically designed to ensure it is near impossible for those who need help to get it!

I have had to file unemployment before in a bigger and way more populated state than NE and did not face this level of difficulty filing a claim, speaking with an actual human and receiving benefits as I have with this state! What is going on? I have filed and my scheduled payment statement status has been on "In Progress" forever. Seems so badly managed. I have been on hold for an hour or 2, several times, never once speaking w someone on the phone. Even with the callback option! I really don't think anyone is working.

How in the world are people supposed to spend time looking for a job if they spend their whole day just trying to contact an actual human being in the office? Overall I tried to be a little more understanding about wait times when there was an entire pandemic shut down all at once. However, it is the over an entire year after the fact so I would've hoped that this issue was taken care of. Well currently I'm going on 2 hours of waiting for unemployment on the phone. Nobody ever seems to know what's going on and the communication that is needed for claimants to actually know the status, or reason for unresolved issues and what needs to be fixed is so poor it's ridiculous. If the communication on what is needed or what is going on would be a lot better, so that people like myself don't have to waste this much time trying to contact an employee.

NE department of labor has caused a ton of turmoil in my life including legal matters by not paying me when I really needed it. I had no income for 2 and a half months. Then again for a total of 6 weeks!! NO income at all! And they took the overpayment I knew nothing about. I have been in severe hardship and still am because of them. They do not care and me and my family continue to suffer. This has been an absolute nightmare!

I work a job that is 9 hours a day. There is no clock out for a lunch break because honestly, there's no time. There is also no breaks where you are able to just go and sit down for a moment. It's 9 straight hours, on your feet. Is this legal?
