This facility is honestly the absolute worse place I have ever rented from. I don’t even know where to begin with my experience living in this horrendous place. I was assigned three roommates when I moved in with one of them being completely insane. The disturbing behavior and extreme uncleanliness of this individual caused my living situation to be a very uncomfortable one. When informing the leasing office of this problem they responded by saying they couldn’t do anything for me. At one point of my time living there the units were completely renovated with new flooring and kitchen appliances. The roommate made the place look like trash within days. Leaving spilled cooking oil on floor and flour caked on the appliance doors. I expressed my concern for the situation to the leasing office and yet again they blew me off. I felt uncomfortable and I felt unsafe. Also, let’s just say if they tell you it’s a only female unit that you are moving into that might not always be the case. If you think this is a only college student apartments then you’d be wrong because anyone can rent here and in fact the roommate was in their 50s-60s. Thankfully, I was able to find somewhere else to live and continued giving these people rent until lease ended. Now that the lease has ended and everything has been payed here they are trying to come at me with a bill for the damages caused by the roommate. I have not one good thing to say about this dump. I would not recommend signing a lease here to my best friend or even my worse enemy.

I have lived with the Commons for 3 years and I can confidently say that Emily is one of the best in the business! She helped me through my renewals and renewal transfers making it a breeze for me. She is the best! Josie is also one of the best! She made sure that it was easy for me to set up my payments online and quarterly inspections of my units were done thoroughly and fast. She is also the best! Ty has been a big help as well! He is one of the most knowledgeable people on the property and has all of the answers to any question! He helped me an endless amount of times over my three years with the Commons. He is awesome! Latrell is also one of the most friendly and kind people I've met! He was also a big help in my renewal processes making sure that I was placed at the best location for me and my schedule! He is the best! Liz is also one of the friendliest people! Liz always made sure that I was notified when my packages arrived and had them ready for me when I went to pick them up! Shayne has also been a huge help for me in the move-out process! Each time that I have called he has had the answers! Mike is one of the best in the business too! He has always fulfilled my work orders as thoroughly as possible. He is always there and makes sure that my unit and the entire property are in the best shape possible! Jordan has also been one to make sure that everything in my unit and around the property is in the best shape possible for me and the other residents! Overall, The Commons is great and has the best team in the industry!!!

Recently signed a lease with them and they have great rooms and a great team! Every time I have came in for tours they were exceptionally nice and even dealt with an odd situation with my roommates studying abroad. There are multiple options for rooms and assigned parking which is great especially around Knoxville. It is near the University of Tennessee at great walking distance to the university or a bus stop to ride into the university. It is located in/near what some may consider a party neighborhood but you get what you paid for.

I do not recommend living at the Commons AT ALL. All of the previous reviews are right… very outdated appliances and overall very gross. My shower had red stains in it and the bathroom was very dirty. The staff is not very helpful at all. …Lauren, I am very disappointed to hear about your experience. This certainly doesn't sound like the exceptional experience we want for our residents and we will use your feedback to improve moving forward. In the meantime, if there is anything I can do to turn things around for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly. Thank you, Jordan Cales - Property Manager - (865) 637-6222
