Questions & Answers

Does this organization offer housing assistance for disabled and older individuals who are new to the area, or must you be a resident for a certain period of time?

Hi Bernice. United Way doesn't offer direct services to clients. For housing assistance, including rental assistance and affordable housing, please contact ACCESS at 541-779-6691. United Way does offer emergency financial assistance to Jackson County residents through our Hope Chest program (availability of funding permitting), but we must receive a referral for assistance from an assigned case manager or social worker affiliated with an agency or organization.

Are you offering any food services today
