I’m a new patient at Delta, and my experience with Paige Houser could not have gone better. She was compassionate, kind, understanding, LGBTQIA friendly, and let me take the time that I needed to calm myself and be comfortable before we took my vitals. I struggle with anxiety and ADD and I’ve been without mental health treatment for over 10 years now. Partially because of a lack of insurance and partially because I thought I could just get through it alone. That’s changed the past few months and boy am I glad I made the first step. I’m very much looking forward to continuing my journey to becoming the person I want to be, and I’m glad to have an ally on my side.

I’ve never been anywhere for my mental health before but I decided to start working on it. I saw this place and despite the COUNTLESS awful reviews about Paige, I was going to give her a chance. On Memorial Day, I found out I had a emergency meeting at work the next day and would not be able to make my appointment and would have to reschedule. I tried to call all day, but they were closed. I got up with someone at 8 am the day of my appointment to try to reschedule. I was told there would be a cancellation fee but that maybe I could request for Paige to waive that. I left her a message explaining the circumstances. She called me back and condescendingly told me that I could not cancel my appointment the day of for work and that there would be a $100 cancellation fee.

I honestly am mind blown by the bad reviews. Especially the ones about Paige Houser. For the first time in my life I feel like I have found someone who is kind, compassionate, empathetic and CARES about my mental health. She actually LISTENS to me and is patient and truly kind. When I went to the hospital for a severe panic attack she even called me immediately the next day (on a Saturday!) and made sure I was ok and got me in asap. Do yourself a favor and don’t listen to the bad reviews. This woman saved my life and continues to do so in which I will be FOREVER grateful. This is coming from someone who has major depressive disorder, panic attacks anxiety disorder, PTSD, and ADD. This nurse practitioner and all the staff at Delta want nothing but to help you get and stay well.
