This is an awesome post office. Can’t understand all the negative reviews, the staff are polite, service is excellent, and they’ve only lost one package in 10 years! Way better than UPS which smashes your packages. Having been a government employee myself, I know how hard it is to keep a positive attitude, especially when the public is always criticizing you. Don’t believe all the haters. The folks at VENETA post office do a wonderful job.

I use to really love this place, nice people, great carriers....but things have really changed. I mean come on, how hard is it to read an address? If you can not read you should NOT be working with peoples mail! I get mail for other people all the time, address not even close, names not even close. And most of all I'm REALLY tired of my packages going else where and I never get them back. Apparently who ever they leave them with are dishonest low-lifes because they do not return them. (either that or the carriers are keeping them!!!) Occasional mistakes are one thing, but this happens WAY too often and I'm beyond fed up!!! And now after sitting on hold they just hang up and take the phone off the hook so I can't call back! UPDATE: one lazy carrier actually broke my grandsons book, a hard cover book, trying to fold it just to get it in the mail box so they didn't have to get out of their car to deliver it!!! He was so sad to see his new book with a long break right down the front and back. USPS you owe us a new book!!!

Absolutely despicable and horrendous customer service. I have had previous issues of USPS not being delivered due to our own issue and when I contacted USPS they informed me it was due to a blocked mailbox. No big deal, we can avoid that …
