Decent used furniture at decent prices. Non-profit store. Nice people work here and there is another store in Chester. I will be returning with a truck.

I used to be a big fan of this store. For awhile everything was nicely priced and everyone was always very friendly. However, today I came to the shop and I was in the kids section with all of the toys when I found a barbie i loved. It was a Princess and the Pauper barbie movie doll, and it was one of my favorite movies of all time. It was in a very gross box that was hanging on by a THREAD, and the doll was very very dirty but i was so happy to see a doll for the series because i never know that dolls were made for that movie. I found it hidden under another toy and it was being crushed. So i pulled it out and there was no price, so i take it to the front and asked if they could try and just ring it up for me or just price it, because the doll wasn't in very good condition so i thought it would be easy to price the doll. Then the person I handed the doll to decided to look up how much the doll was worth and they turned to me and very rudely asked if there was no price on the box, I responded and said there really wasn't a price and if they could just price it for me. They decided that the doll was "rare" and would be very expensive and they told me that they were gonna keep looking up the price and they couldn't sell it to me. It made me furious, because first of all, the doll is NOT rare. She would go for around 100 if she was mint in box and CLEAN, but the dolls box was ripped to shreds and she was very dirty. The doll itself would sell for only around 20-30 if the doll was still clean and out of box. So considering the box and the dirt and matting in the dolls hair, she should have been worth no more that 5-10 dollars. For a place that gets things for FREE by getting them donated, it makes me angry that you guys are acting like a pawn shop, when you could have just sold me the doll. After today, it felt like the business has become very money hungry. I still have hope i can come back and get the doll, but if they price it high, i refuse to return to this establishment.

This store used to be great. Have been shopping with them since 2012 when they were the ROC church thrift. Within the past year the store has sadly changed. Once items were priced fair and I could spend $50.00 or $100.00 dollars maybe more …Sounds like what your describing is our “Things Are Finer” section in the front of our store. Our “Things Are Finer” section are collectables, designer, hard to find and higher end items that are priced higher than most items in the store. As far as the furniture and other items, we have a color discount system reviews all prices and lowers them every two weeks to 30 days. If an Item is new to the store it will be reduced in two weeks. From time to time managers will make exceptions and give additional discounts on items. Please note that sales help to support our nine month residential addiction recovery program for men and women as well as local community outreach. Again, Proceeds from sales is how we fund our ministry. While we want customers to have a good experience and get good deals, our greater purpose is to help the men and women in our program who are in crisis.

Yes we do pick ups of furniture and larger items
It is a thrift store so it's hit or miss sometimes. As of 8/11 I did see a washing machine there though
Yes they deliver
