Even while running understaffed their communication was clear and we were even allowed to check in early. Nice, clean rooms, central location, surprisingly quiet for its Union Square location. I would definitely stay there again.

The Herbert Hotel is a good hotel to stay in if you’re by yourself or with someone! Being my first time visiting San Francisco I wanted to try this one because it was super close to Union Square! however I will give it 4 stars because the only sort of cooling I had was the ceiling fan or opening up the window and not very acessible charging outlets (one by the sink and the other under the desk) but all in all, a cozy experience at an inexpensive hotel in a high dollar area.

Parking not included $44 per night, forced to go to another hotel (starford hotel) for a welcome. Absolutely illogical. Tiny but clean and pretty room. Nice view from the 7th floor.
