Redondo Beach Dog Park

Well, with the exception of a few in San Diego, this is one of the nicest beach town dog parks. It has a few older trees along one side with grass underneath them that is cool for the dogs to lay down in. At the far end of the dog park there is a gated area that was open when we were there that is nothing but grass. There are plenty of goop utensils and blue trash cans all along the fence line on one side. And that may be the reason that there are not very many land mines. It has a couple very nice watering stations that also have water fountains for humans. It's got multiple concrete benches on concrete pads to sit down on. Being close enough to the high power electrical lines to hear them sing makes me a little nervous, yikes, but the dog park and the love of my dog make it well worth it!! They also have taken the time to hang a lot of very little but very true and encouraging signs all along the fence line, so I took pictures and posted them!! No need to thank me, I know you had a bunch of extra time to waste? Hahaha enjoy the dog park!

Huge dog park!. There is an area for smaller dogs as well. People are very friendly and good at picking up after their dogs.

Kevin loved the dog park. It’s a large sand pit but I rather have sand than grass and thorns.

Beware... based on their good ratings, I took my dogs there a couple days last week and they came home infested with fleas!!!! Please treat this issue so my dogs can come back in the future because they enjoyed playing there!
