In regard to those answering the phone, I found I had to call a few times and even though I explained why I called, my situation and what not, I shouldn't have had to call as many times I did just to get a simple answer that I finally got after 2 or 3 times calling.

They weren't above and beyond to make sure that I was treated properly by the slumlord that was trying to toss us out and refusing to give back the 5 months of rent that I prepaid to cover up till October, I'm extremely grateful for how efficient they were at making sure the judge saw the truth rather than just hearing the landlords lies.
First come first serve for housing issues either call or go there yourself. Bring any paperwork you might have and its first thing in the morning also so get there first or call as soon as they open. They can help with pretty much anything!!
Hello, do you represent people who need help with tickets? My son was told to pay $2700 by the end of the month and that isn't possible. I would hate for him to get jail time over tickets he got when he was 17 and he is now 21 and in college.

I agree also it is a form of discrimination even under the new housing laws no one can deny your application because it is to women maybe he has certain beliefs I would take a look at that also make sure that he understands that this is against New York state law and that it doesn't even exist then maybe he would be willing to answer your complaint truthfully sounds very personal
My landlord said there's a shut off for the water bill - but I send him money every 3 months for it and now there's a shut off? He said it's over $800 and also said he doesn't have a copy to provide me.

If you are infested with bedbugs to the point where you cant live there and you told your landlord and they did nothing about it but still want rent do I have the right to withhold rent since I haven’t been living there and they refuse to help

You must notify the landlord in writing of the problem and they have 30 days to correct the problem. You may withhold rent but must seek resolution of the dispute thru housing court. Similiar problem exists at rooming house located on franklin street.
I am do in court on Monday July 23,2018. My land lord lost his property back in January. We have been paying rent to him since February 2018 that he was not entitled to. Can you please help me?

If you ask your landlord to finish doing work on the house you currently live in. Then they give you a 30 day notice to vacate due to renovation. First is this legal and second do they have to help you find another place?
