I came in from Minnesota to view a two bedroom JAY gave us a tour when I tell y’all he was literally the best he was very polite , offered us some to drink , gave us price quotes etc . Not to mention that two bedroom he showed us BABBYYYYYYY I WAS INLOVE . I think I love that place more then I love my mom lol ok maybe not that much I’ll definitely be back to sign that lease . I committed to signing a lease agreement with Mezzo without seeing the actual apartment. There was only one unit immediately available according the Mezzo’s website and the leasing office, to which I called to confirm. I ascertained the general look and feel of Mezzo from the online images of the community and the stock photos of its apartment homes. Unfortunately, the floor plan provided for the one unit available did not match the actual unit upon viewing the space after I already committed to the unit and halted my search elsewhere. This was a significant blunder on Mezzo’s part, as the actual unit does not have a study, nor a balcony that extends the full length of the unit. Additionally, the unit’s interior common space (the merged living room and dining room) does not meet the size requirements to accommodate my furniture pieces (including a pool table), which was my primary driver for committing to the unit as defined in the floor plan. This was immediately noticeable upon me viewing the unit for the first time and it should have been identified in advance by Mezzo management. Understanding that the intended floor plan can’t be materialized out the ether, I made other arrangements/accommodations with Mezzo to move forward with keeping the less desirable unit. I appreciate their quick response to the matter, but ultimately I lose living space (again, a whole room is missing and the unit’s common living space is smaller). In general, I am still pleased and the units are larger than competitors when comparing at similar price points. I’ll make do for the time being, but I urge Mezzo to double check the floor plans associated with its available units in the future. That’s really basic. Kudos to the security personnel as well. This is a community where the staff recognizes its residents.
