I was really surprised at how expensive everything was there. I went looking for a chair for outside and everything they had was broken and/or wobbly and the lowest price I found for a single chair was $60 and it was broken. That being said, the place is huge and there is tons of stuff. I didn't look at much else while there.

Men's pants embarrassing. Looks like a liberal's dream. Must wear a mask. They get the stuff for free and then charge for it. Why not go total liberal and let people walk out with whatever they want? Awful.

Used to be very affordable and a go to place. Seems like their prices have doubled. I'm looking at a half burnt candle for $4 and it would be $5 at a store or less. Used to pick up nice couches here for $50 all the time. They're all $150 now.

Great deals !

Yes they offer free pickup on donated items.
Yes, call and they will. schedule a time.
We do not do donation pickups for clothing/shoes/housewares, we send the donation pickup trucks out for furniture and other larger donations only. For more information on scheduling a donation pickup, please call 919-220-6119.
This event has been delayed. New dates are October 1 & 2. See the TROSA Thrift Store facebook page for details.
Occasionally, but this is not something that is regularly in stock.
No. Mattresses are heat treated at an external facility under State of NC guidelines and bagged to prevent cross contamination. All other items are sprayed for COVID and given a visual inspection, spot cleaned as needed/able.
Delivery is within 20 miles of the store, measured by google maps.
Face masks required for all customers and staff, they have plastic barriers by cashiers and spray incoming donations before they are put on the shelves.
Dressing rooms have been closed since COVID, and are still closed
It depends on the piece of furniture and the condition it is in.
Yes they have a lot of rugs full sized ones as well. Great Thrift store!
Every few months there is a restock sale with any large appliances that have been received. Follow TROSA Thrift Store on Facebook for the announcements.
The Thrift Store only hires TROSA graduates. TROSA occasionally has other open positions - you can see them at https://www.trosainc.org/careers
They open 12noon -6pm I believe.
It doesn't change significantly on a week to week basis, but seems to have significant new stock after a month or two.
Occasionally, they usually bring them out four times a year for the ReStock sales, and then once they're sold there are not any available until the next sale. Sales usually happen March, June, August, and November.
The store will open with limited hours on June 23rd, check their Facebook page or website www.trosathriftstore.org for more details
I've never seen any there. I would call before going for this particular item.
Yes, there are usually a variety to choose from, but quality varies. Look in the office furniture section, between the desks and the filing cabinets.
No
Yes, accepted onsite if in good, usable condition (will not schedule a pickup for clothing)
Call them for pickup👍🏼
Delivery fees start at $39 and go up based on distance and difficulty
All sales are final unless there is a very bad defect that wasnt noticed, such as furniture parts missing.
The store can't accept the old tube TV's as the city dump charges businesses to dispose of them (but residents can dispose of up to 5 for free), and the working ones don't sell (not even at $1.99). VCR's and any sort of older flat-panel TV can be accepted, as long as they're in good working order.
Don't think so but some people do and then others who want or need it will pick it up right then. Best not to do it when it's raining though.
Yes they do. If you do not want to go to the store. You can call them and they will come pick up your donations. They have 6-8 trucks that come to you, if you wish. The store is awesome, though.
None scheduled, but most likely 2020. Usually 4/year, in Feb, April, July and Aug/Sept.
TROSA accepts most gently used items. The items most needed by the program include men's clothing (esp shoes), microwave ovens, irons, and other household goods. There are a few items the store can not accept - see https://www.trosathriftstore.org/index.php/donate
Tue-Sat 10-7, Sunday 12-6. Sometimes closed for special events - see www.trosathriftstore.org for all dates that the store is closed.
I would answer yes to your question. They have 6-8 trucks used to pick up and deliver purchased items. They also pick up donated items, just call the store to set up a time.
These questions are usually not answered by the business. But they usually do have dinette sets.
The store is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, also New Years Eve and New Years Day. All hours of operation and closed dates can be found at www.trosathriftstore.org. The store supports the nonprofit TROSA program and does not have any religious affilliation - more info at www.trosainc.org.
They have various furniture there although everything they have is on a first come first serve basis. It's always good to check what they have in stock currently
Yes, you have to schedule with them the pick up.
These guys are solid. Have been total pros doing pick up and delivery.
That would be a consignment store, not a thrift store.

Between 2 to 5 dollars, depending on brand and condition.
Their inventory changes frequently. I agree with Ms Barber, call the store to see if they have one in stock!
They very rarely have them. I saw front facing washers for $80, and i wish i had gotten one because i haven't seen any since.
