So I have been at this property for almost 3 years now and I am truly happy we have new Management they have helped me to their best ability and have been a breath of fresh air these past few months I do love being here despite it not being in my price range Just hoping these tough times subside We have a great Pool and a few other amenities I really enjoy !! This place is the worst do not rent here the apartments are prone to leaks/floods and mold as well as pest and critters. Management is no help and takes no responsibility. The units all reek of mildew

HORRIBLE! Do not move in here. Leasing office is very unprofessional and not helpful when serious issues arise. Spoke to neighbors and many families in my building that also have severe water leakage issues. The first water leakage damaged my property and I was couch hopping for a week! I even missed out on work. They said they would refund me some of my rent, but never did. I told leasing office to test for mold and they said corporate wouldn't pay for that. Apartment has awful smell because of the water. Maintenance is very friendly and he tries his best to help though. He is always very respectful and kind, I think the issue is more in management. Ryan, the property manager, is fully aware of the mold in my apartment and continues to ignore this problem. They tried charging me extra 200$ for a new apartment when I complained. The Point was much better and more understanding and actually have compassion for their tenants. I urge you to check for mold especially to those who have young children and/or are pregnant. I am 23 and suffer from severe respiratory issues. I have been on inhalers and lung steriods yet the leasing office decides to disregard my doctor's note to get me out of this apartment. Leasing office also refuses to give me air purifier or dehumidifier to help with the mold issue. They are doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I will be making ALL of my neighbors aware of this issue. Managers are stand-off ish and laughed when I asked for a hotel. It is really unfortunate when you pay so much in rent just to get such a bad experience. I am still in awe on how this situation was handled, and I cannot believe it is still unresolved. Definitely consider other locations before moving into this place.

As a recent reviewer said, The Retreat is the epitome of bait and switch. I toured the model and committed to a unit with the same floor plan that turned out to be absolutely nothing like the model. The unit was dated, not upgraded, and not up to my standards. Since the new management company doesn't know how to manage, they couldn't even tell me the specs of my unit until a week before my move in date. I never saw a lease, even a week from move in and when promised by Ryan, the Community "Manager". The operations of this place are a disgrace and the process was more than frustrating. When I got a response from the leasing office, it was inconsistent, not complete nor prompt. Save yourself the headache and do not choose to live here. Let all the recent reviews tell the story.
