If I could give negative 5 star review I would. My father is still at the hospital, 3 weeks after coming in for UTI. Never did a urinalysis first two days. Had to do anothrr to get a culture. On ineffective antibiotics for 5 days. They left him in bed over 10 days no pt, no one to get him out of bed. He developed Bed sores then pneumonia. They gave him trazadone that quite often makes elderly aggressive and delusional. The dr wouldn't listen when I told them he was having a bad reaction to the meds. The nurse had to come to my defence and told the dr this medication is Bad! No one seemed concerned when his urine was dark brown. The nurse at the time just said ohhh well no fluids were ordered. Now today he has tested positve for covid. 8/30/2022 Discharged medically ready 8/31/2022 INFECTED BED SORES, NEVER CLEARED THE UTI. At another Hospital, they ARE SHOCKED at the condition he is in. Absolutely astounded.

Horrible ER. They will not treat you beyond basic care because they are a “community” hospital yet the are sure to admit you so that they can charge you. The staff is rude, condescending and uncaring.

Because of negative reviews I read on the hospital site, I am writing this review. I had an appointment this morning for an echocardiogram. It could not have gone better. It was timely, maybe a 2 minute wait and the cardiotech came out to call me in. Her name is Erica. Besides her excellent professional skills, she was pleasant, she smiled, was caring and thoughtful . The ladies at the reception and registration desks were very pleasant. All-in-all , my experience at UMass Hospital MarlboroughMA was excellent.

This place will never put patients over profit. Their ER staff is especially horrible. You would think getting a 25 million dollar grant would mean they can better train and equip thier ER Department as there are multiple consistent complaints of lack of care and horrible bedside manner practices in that particular department. Sadly the tax payers are the ones who suffer
This is still an extremely relevant question/concern 2 years later
They torture them so the will will not forever back
Sorry, I can't help with your question.-Because I'm not publisher and don't do any typographic job.
Yes, 7am - 3pm
They do not perform dna tests on inpatients. Only can be done by outpatient providers. Preferably ordered by a geneticist.
