I have been trying to contact this group of people for months now. Call on the phone and, after 10 minutes of confusing automated voice prompts, you will get a recording (after entering your personal info) stating that "Due to an extremely high volume of calls, we are unable to take your call. You are then prompted to visit the ftb site and chat with a representative. After waiting in the cue for almost an hour, the site automatically ends the chat. There is no way to resume as (even at 1pm) it tells you that chat is not available. So, i sent an email (as this was my only other means of contacting them) you are informed that it could take 30 days to be read. Meanwhile I'm getting letters threatening lien and levy in the next two weeks. I'd give zero stars if I could.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. We were told that the wait would be up to 1 hour after checking in, but it was actually less than 20 minutes. Just keep in mind that you will need to pay for parking when visiting the building.

FTB doesn't have public access to the building. Go to ftb.ca.gov & you can do a live chat with a representative about your issue.
How do I get a human instead of automated computer?
Go down to FTB and ask why. If u owe for traffic and other things this could b the possible reason

There is not a drop off box outside the office on Power Inn Rd. There may be a box at the main location on Butterfield.
