Typical state office, two workers and around 30+ people waiting to be helped!

If you need to go to the EDD department, what you need is to have a lot of patience, but the staff is very friendly and they help you a lot... again you need patience because if it takes a while, but you can also communicate by phone if you do not want to be seated a good time.

You have to wait too long and another thing every time you talk to one of the representatives they give you different information.

They hang up on me before the phone even rings

Yes, you will. But its only 3 or less agents working at any time. On the plus side, the waut isnt thst bad and the agents are very helpful.
Just claim form applications.
It took me a week from tje time my application and doctors certification was recieved. It was the bank of America debit card they pay you on that took another week to receive.
Always make copies first for yourself..then take them in..never mail your dr note.they lose them all the time
Esta muy lejos de mi
Yes they are open went there to verify my address
you do not need an appointment. they are open until 5pm mo thru. Fri and as long as you're in the door by 5pm you're good they will see you
They won't allow you inside the place unless you have an appointment with them.
Do I need an appointment for help to file DI claim
Yes he can for 1 year after that if is fully disabled if he transfer's his business over to you he will transistor onto to fill ssi if he owes a business no ssi
Unless specifically directed to fax in documentation, fax is not available. You have to mail it in or walk it into an office. To find your nearest office, go to edd.ca.gov and type Office Locator into the search field.
Yes. For disability.
Short answer is it can be. Long answer, there are only two to three people working at the counter at a time. It gets pretty crowded around holidays (before and after). But it you get there between at 8-10, it's not too bad. It gets really crowded right around noon as well. And, unlike the DMV, you can't make appointments.
The system is bogged down by number of callers high and number of workers low. The ONLY way I've been able to ever contact them directly is by going to the local EDD office and using thier phones which are directly linked to EDD. They only answer the phones in the morning. If you don't speak with a rep before noon you won't. I've heard that they process calls in the a.m. and process claims in the p.m. Good luck!!!
You are sent a letter for an independent medical examiner. You call the number provided and schedule an appointment. Call SDI back to report the day and time of the appointment.
I went straight to the edd disability office, forget the process just go straight to them and they'll let you know
Yes just dont move.
You are better off bringing them down there so they can het processed quicker. I don't think they have an option to fax paperwork. Its either mail in or drop off. Hope this helps
The front counter at EDD will be able to advise on how to get it.
Unfortunately there's no real way to get in touch with a disability operator. your call is put into a queue when you call him when he hundred number. Whoever picks up the phone can answer your questions that's if the lines are not full. You could go into your nearest disability office to the front counter and ask your questions.
If I'm sure there's a Reset password and they send aly link to your email and you should be able to reset it
Not sure my first time dealing with all of this
I'm not sure u pick up the paperwork to start ur edd state disability and unemployment
No
Go in too Edd and speak to a real person
I applied but they haven’t paid me. They tell me that I put I only wanted to be paid for one day but they know when I went back to work
You go to EDD & ask for one they also send one to you in the mail once your original leave date is up
You can't file a claim but they will assist you with filing the claim and have phones that call directly to the claim filing department available daily before noon. In addition computer access and free printing
I'm just dropping off my Doc note stating I'm still injured. I did it. It took a min to be called but not as bad as some places. The lady was really kind and fast. I was done it 5 mins.
I know, right? The phone tree and recordings are not only a waiste of EVERYONES TIME bc of the fact that they make you go through a five minute recording bf hanging up. Its nearly IMPOSSIBLE to reach these people
Yes as you have to take a number that will be called when they will see you.
U can get paid family leave while u were taking care of him.
