First time having a real Cheesesteak, with Whiz of course! It was really good, the staff was even better. If you get cheese fries, all for a plate and flip them on top the plate, most of the cheese is at the bottom. Great tip from one of the people writing there. I can't wait to go back and add some onions to it!

June 2022-To be honest, I really don't know what all the HYPE was about.. or maybe I didn't order my cheesesteak properly.. but I wasn't a fan. There was WAYYY too much cheese and I love cheese.. all I could taste was that.. the bread too chewy and for everything else I could barely taste. Place was packed and the wait was a regular standard wait for lunch hours. About 15 mins for our food. There's enough tables for everyone to sit at and they have a signature drink that I would recommend just ask them because I forgot the name.. we were told to go to ishkabibbles 2 because it was better.. but I might try the orginal next time.. by the way... 2 chicken cheesesteaks cost us about $30

We loved this place. The Philly Cheesesteak was just what I had hoped it would be. The onion rings were great too! We had researched another place and found out they didn't have seating, so we stopped here. There was plenty of seating.

Honestly if you know you know, ishkabibbles is the way to go when it comes to a good lunch on south street. The Gremlin is a must get and their cheesesteaks are fantastic. A must try spot.
