We entered Letchworth State Park from north Park Rd. One day pass was $10. We were given a map which highlighted the scenic views which made it so easy to know where to stop. But to be honest the views did not start till we got to Tea table view. It started getting better and better. Not much water. Till you get to Lower Falls which you would have to hike down to lots of stairs down to the falls. Good to have a hat and sunglasses. The summer sun glare can get strong at points. Is the hike worth it to be honest "no" you only get a glimpse of the lower falls but it was a good moderate exercise. We skipped the middle falls because it was also a hike down. We drove straight to the Upper Falls which is a beautiful site with a train bridge above. A very beautiful view and nice park for picnic and family fun. Lots of rest areas throughout the park for breaks. Overall, my husband and kids loved the park and are really considering camping here soon. There are many trails for hiking.

Huge park with multiple great falls, nice picnic areas and scenic areas. Although we visited after Niagara Falls, this place has big close-distance falls with a peaceful breeze. Bonus: They have balloon rides over the park and falls. Even watching those balloons filled and raised was awesome. Great time spent with kids.

Beautiful weekend trip! The trails to the lower falls were still seasonally closed. There are great trails on the other side of the park also. For a first timer just car hopping from spot to spot let me see most of the park. Beautiful grounds! Amazing waterfalls. Because the ground is all shale you can not go down near the water and there are definite barriers to prevent you from doing so. Some areas you can't see as well as you'd like for safety reasons (lower falls trails and wolf creek waterfall).

Cold rainy wet December day .. added more to this visit than it took away. The park was open for easily accessible areas but many spots were fenced off for safety. Entrance was free and yet the park was practically empty. During Covid this was comforting. The first stop was the New York mini “Grand Canyon”. It was breathtaking. Armed with umbrellas snapping photos along cleared defined paths and stone walls gave many photo opportunities. The routes were marked clearly with maps and historical information boards. Driving to the middle and high falls was easily done. Arriving at the picnic /playground /parking area after parking I chose to go to the high falls first. This area has look out coves among the cleared paths and stone walls. The middle falls were a short walk along the banks of the water way. Arriving at the middle falls I was able to get up close and personal in a look out cove. As I watched the furious rolling waters amongst the thunderous mesmerizing roar I felt completely at peace. Backtracking out of the park I saw look out points and a tourist shop. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit .. the park is accessible those with disabilities as you can drive to many points to take in the views. For hikers most of the trails were closed as were many entrances. For safety reason and low traffic at this time of year. There are camping areas , cabins, a restaurant and other options available during high season.

Yes

Hi! I was hoping to find out what kind of parking is available at the Castile entrance? Thanks!

The Humphrey Nature Center, just south of the entrance, had parking. There are many large lots throughout the park, but that's the closest.
