Why no more parking? How are you supposed to get there? Helicopter?! Even if I had a helicopter, I would fly it to Belize where the ppl are nicer and they don’t act like spoiled brats!

Went kayaking yesterday about 7:30 in the morning. My wife and I took two kayaks out around through the grasslands and saw one Crane and many other birds I can't recognize. Been there before great place but forgot that you have to watch the high and low tides. Timing is everything getting under the train trestle but this morning was low tide so it was great. But coming back low tide was a little bit of problems for some of the grass weed areas where it went down about a foot and made like sand barges in many places. Overall highly recommend especially in the in the fall when foliage is outstanding.

The Audubon Center is a beautiful place and would be much better if we could park there. Now it is really hard to get there

The Audubon web site states that its organization "fosters an inclusive community that honors individuals of all races, cultures, abilities...." This policy is now a complete joke since the advantaged residents of Philipstown have CLOSED PARKING ACCESS to Constitution Marsh (apparently to block a handful of out-of-towners from threatening their "private landscape"). If you want to visit the preserve, you must now pay for an Uber (or hike from the Boscobel parking lot). So much for "inclusive" access to land set aside for "We the People..."

No, but you can try swimming there. Just kidding, don't really try to swim there.

Are dogs allowed on the trails?

Dogs are not allowed on the trails due to the marsh being an animal sanctuary to different species. I think they are afraid of messing with the wildlife that lives throughout the park.

I'm pretty sure you are talking about Hell's Hole which is not too far away, where there have been deaths. No. You aren't allowed to swim there
