Dr Algendy is a true life saver. He and his staff are kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. I have suffered with CRPS for 3 years now. He diagnosed me when many other doctors couldn’t. I now have a spinal stimulator and I see Dr Algendy every 4 weeks. He really listens to you and takes his time answering any questions you might have. I truly love him and the girls in his office. Thank you Dr Algendy.

Dr Algendy and his staff always show great care and compassion. He always finds the right treatment each time to relieve my pain areas. I tell everyone if it wasn't for Dr Algendy I would move like a robot instead of a human free of severe pain. Thank you for all you do, Dr!!

PRP injections are used to treat a number of different joint conditions, and patients may want to confirm that the physician is familiar with using PRP specifically for treating osteoarthritis.
Most experienced orthopedic and sports medicine physicians are able to make accurate injections into certain joints (e.g. knees) without the need for imaging; however, in some cases imaging technologies may be used to ensure that the injections are made precisely to the joint capsule.
The International Cellular Medicine Society recommends that a doctor offering PRP therapy has either participated in a formal training course or has had extensive one-on-one training with an experienced doctor.
A diagnosis of osteoarthritis should be verified with imaging technology, such as an X-ray, any time surgery or injections are being considered. In addition to a specific diagnosis, the doctor should assess whether or not the condition is too severe to be treated with PRP therapy.
