I brought my cat here who was very ill & came here for a second opinion. My original vet was booked so I was trying other vets. They were not straight forward & all about the money. They charged me 3x the amount for the pet visit, & wanted to charge me $500 for pet medications. I did bring my cat here for an oncology specialist, but the vet was more vague than the regular vet that I brought her to the previous day. If you need a specialist I would look into Broward Vet Specialist. I called my original vet (Nine Lives Cat Hospital) & they gave me all the medicine for under $100. If you have a cat I would highly recommend bringing your baby there. If not, I also recommend South Federal Animal Hospital. They are reasonably priced too, & the veterinarian even called to follow up to see how my cat was doing. These two places genuinely care about your babies & not all about the money. I would not recommend VCA. I’d also like to mention, I came in crying because I know my cat was very ill & the receptionist said ‘aww you’re crying already?’.. I feel like that’s not the best way to handle your patients that are grieving with a terminally ill pet.

I recently had to bring my frenchie in for what I thought was a UTI. He had gall stones and was blocked. Michelle at the front desk immediately checked me in. Donna from the lab immediately got me into a room. Dr. Heim immediately took my baby to the back to analyze the situation and he had a stone blocking his urethra. Dr Lukens and Dr Heim tried to un block him but unfortunately needed surgery. Dr Clark tried everything she could to keep cost down but I could not afford to do more for him. I know my baby had the best doctors working on him and I am so appreciative for them. Thank you Dr. Heim, Dr. Lukens and Dr. Clark.

Yes you can. Though they are part of VCA , they are a different entity . You will have to fill out paperwork there as well. But the staff is great and Dr. Brown is fantastic 👌
It's my experience that they might refer you to an 24-hour care facility and it's quite expensive.
