This is a complete waste of time for me and everyone else forced to go. I have never once found a job through NYS. I’d rather be looking for a job on my own and interviewing instead of wasting my morning and my gas to drive all the way here. Complete waste of time. But I have to attend to keep getting my unemployment. 👍🏼

It is a strongly helpful facility with resources and counseling. The center offers training in area such as using LinkedIn, writing resumes. It also assists individuals with disabilities.

Yes, you will see the building after getting off the train, walking east towards the RR crossing and a little north on Ocean Avenue. The dark red building is on the left side directly after the RR crossing.

Is that so, it is not what I experienced. On seriously bad weather days (blizzards, hurricanes) county administrators expressed caution. Individual circumstances vary, life nonetheless, is precious and irreplaceable.

If my employer offers a voluntary separation program and I elect to participate in the program, am I eligible to receive unemployment benefits

It is important you carefully examine what the agreement involves. For example, what are employers' objectives for having you sign on the dotted line? Please note, basically unemployment insurance is avilable to individuals who lose their jobs at no fault of their own. Signing a voluntary separation document would be a choice. Your agreement may relieve the employer of legal requirements and labor regulations. You may call or visit the labor department for specific details under New York State labor laws. The volunteer separation may have benefits including severance pay. However, if you are expecting to receive umemployment benefits. There is a great uncertainty at least on the horizon.
