Amazing recruiting office, I have entered the U.S. Army twice out of this office and never once have I receiving incorrect information or been dissuaded from pursuing a career option I was interested in. These recruiters are true subject matter experts and professionals, come down or make an appointment with them to explore your options.

Hi Maria, thank you for your question. The Army helps you in so many ways. First, by joining, the Army will train you in the career of your choosing (if you meet the qualifications.) Second, all of the Army training you receive is accredited and may count towards your college degree. Third, the Army pays for your college while you're in the service; helping you to complete your education towards your future career. Fourth, the Army grants you the G.I. Bill (65k scholarship) towards your education after the Army to complete any remaining education you need. Fifth, the Army enrolls you into the PAYS program upon enlistment, that guarantees you a job interview with a company of your choosing. Lastly, as a Veteran, you receive preferential treatment for hire among many major employers including the government. I hope this helps and opens your eyes to the possibilities.
Brian, it depends on your goals. With Active duty and Reserves, You'll receive $4k Tuition Assistance annually (paid to the college) to continue your education. Additionally, if you serve active duty, you will receive up to $65k towards your education after the service along with housing allowance and book stipend. If you serve in the Army Reserves, you can receive up to $13k towards your education along with the $4k annually. The Army Reserves also offers the G.I. Bill Kicker, an additional monthly allowance from $100 to $350 while you attend college. In addition to using financial aid, many colleges offer the Yellow Ribbon Program that helps bridge the financial gap between what your Army education benefits will cover and what the tuition rate is for the school you're attending. This helps Veterans qualify for schools that may originally be unrealistic for their budget.
