Sweet Buns

Tried this establishment for the first time today and was very pleased with the entire experience. I ordered the matcha bun, the cookies and cream, the ham and cheese, and lastly another one that was cream filled with a dried fruit(date I thought). All were flavorful, appropriately priced and were all filling. My personal favorite was the ham and cheese. The bread was soft, reminded me very much of a Hawaiian roll. I'd recommend making some scrambled eggs to go with it as it would pair very nicely. For the sweet rolls the matcha was my favorite. The flavor reminded me a pound cake but with an added flavor and much more refined. Going to go back to try their pork buns. Get there early because they will sell out of those!

This was an interesting experience. I wanted to go to pick up/ try some moon cakes. It looks/feels clean and bright and there's a lot of fun looking pastries. We tried the honey pork bun. It was too sweet for me and not enough meet. The lemon pastry was Made with a synthetic lemon that tasted fake to me. We saved the moon pie and milk pudding for home. They were both yummy buy the milk pudding was a little over priced. I'll go back to try some other things but right now it seems like just a fun novelty thing.
