Atmosphere was unpleasant for brunch at 11am on a Sunday. There was a DJ playing very loud dance music. We were shouting at each other and asked for the music to be turned down, which the DJ turned down slightly for about 10 minutes then turned it up even louder. I would expect a DJ this loud in the evening but not at brunch at 11am. We were quite disappointed with the quality of the food seeing that they boast having won “Tampa Bay Times Best Brunch”. Sausage Biscuits with Gravy and scrambled eggs were bland. Avocado toast was thin, wimpy and soggy (both orders), Pimento and Peach Toast was heavy on the cheese and tasted like a cheese pizza and we could not tell there was peach on it at all. Pancakes were good but the portion seemed wasteful as it was a stack of three dinner plate sized pancakes. Taste-wise, the highlight was the candied bacon but sadly served in a small metal pail with grease heavily dripping in every direction from the overhanging bacon. Presentation of the bacon could have been much better. A big surprise: no fresh squeezed orange juice. That is a red flag. We were excited to eat here and brought out of town guests, which was a mistake as we were embarrassed at the quality of the food.

I am so glad we tried Cask. The food was delicious. The scallops-perfect. I cleaned my plate. My husband had the turkey and it was really really good. I also loved the cornbread and brussel sprouts (delicious). The servers were very nice and attentive. It is SoHo so there is limited parking, but they do have on-site parking. I recommend reservations, especially on a busy SoHo evening. We ate inside, but the patio dinning looked comfortable.

It's a breakfast brunch place that has bottomless mimosas. Seating was limited as it was really busy.

My overall experience was amazing! Kyrsten made sure she was on top of everything very hospitable!! The mimosa’s where awesome everyone enjoyed there food and drinks! Overall atmosphere was awesome! Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever eaten! Thank you, definitely will recommend and be a returning customer!
