This place went beyond my expectations. My MacBook had a busted up display screen and we had originally gone to an Apple Store to get it repaired, but the person at the Apple Store actually made my screen worse, and Apple had overall given us a harder time, made things more complicated and tried to get us to spend more money on things that might not have been necessary. However, Brown Computer Solutions went out of their way to find multiple alternative options to choose from for the repair, and the person there even found out for us that my MacBook came with a Limited Warranty- I was able to get my MacBook repaired for free! Looks as great as the day I got it. I'm definitely coming back to this place for future device issues, very satisfied.

Highly recommend spending your money somewhere else. Very rude staff. Wanted to support local but took my money to Best Buy instead.

This is a great local resource for Mac users. Pleasant, personal service whether you're buying a new computer or if you need something repaired. I've been buying all my work and family computers from Brown for 10+ years.

Nerd paradise! Super helpful, very patient. Light years ahead of Amazon.

Brown Computer Solutions strictly enforces masks and distancing. Customers are asked to schedule visits to the store at https://www.bcsmacs.com/reserve to assist with managing the number of customers inside the store. Checked in equipment is cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. Hand sanitizer is readily available and conveniently located.
As long as the only issue is battery, cost is $99.99. This is a repair that we mail to Apple. Turnaround is usually less than 1 week.
Hi Maddy, The snap on cases aren't necessarily bad, but sometimes dirt can get caught between the case and the computer and cause scratches. They can also add a little extra weight to the display making hinge feel loose. Lastly, they tend to hold a little more heat into the computer which makes your fan(s) run more and can decrease battery life. I'm giving you their worst attributes and these are all minor. The upside is that they can help prevent dents and scratches. They rarely help prevent any serious damage though. Thanks for your question. Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
As an Apple Premium Service Provider, we service all Apple products. Service strategy on iPad involves whole unit exchange. If your iPad is covered by AppleCare+ the cost is typically just $49. If it is not covered by AppleCare+, we can determine the cost after inspection and diagnostics.
Hi Michael, we used to do that as a promo, but haven’t had that promo this year. I will however refund your $50 for the service as an exception.
Don't think so
Hi Elaine, I'm sorry, we do not sell or service TV's.
Hi Christine, While we specialize in Apple Products and services, we do offer service for Windows computers as well. We can perform software service on your Microsoft Surface, but most hardware repairs we wouldn't be able to perform on that unit.
