Carryover 4th of July fireworks was great! "Second Summer" has really unique fireworks, good-value switch from just big city big size vibes. Looking forward to coming back for a sunset.

Absolutely beautiful area! If your intent is to go to the beach then park in the main lot. The price to park is 20$. If you just want to visit the JFK memorial, the Korean war memorial or the park for thirty minutes or less then park in the lot next to the JFK memorial. Its a small lot and parking is free for under half an hour. Please remember this is a veteran park so please donate to the man located at the little hut between the JFK memorial and thd Korean war memorial. He also has hats for sale only 20$, the money goes to our veterans. You can take a path to the beach as well as long as you dont stay too long. They have restrooms available and also a water fountain that you can use to fill your water bottle. The area is pristine, beautiful and clean.

I brought my daughter here twice on a recent vacation. We went in the evening so the bathrooms were closed and there were no lifeguards. My daughter had a blast both times. She found some other kids to play with. Calm water.

Last I knew feels are $20. But that includes a few other beaches as well. I dont think there are any entrance fees till around June, waters start to warm up around May or June. Depending on how warm spring.
