Originally booked our stay at another hotel that ended up being filthy! After lots of stress and some tears, I found this hotel had an available room last minute, and I'm so thankful it did! Ended up being much closer to cedar point than our original booking, and the hotel itself was much, much nicer. After explaining our headache to the manager, I believe named Todd, he kindly gave us a room with a bay view! Amazing customer service from him, and from his staff that we interacted with. Anything we needed was quickly provided upon request, no issues with our room whatsoever. Large breakfast with plenty of options. Next door is an awesome and unique restaurant and game lounge as well.

Positive: The pool was nice and it was kept clean. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning and the food was tasty. The staff did an excellent job. Negative: The room was not cleaned daily and I didn't receive fresh towels or additional toilet paper. I had to go to the front desk to make the request. The floor was not vacuumed and the carpet looked worn out and dirty.

The hotel was great, but the customer service desks and the reservation line were horrid. During the reservation process I had very very simple and easy to understand questions like “could we get a cot for this room if we were to reserve it” and “does breakfast come with this room” and the lady on the line would NOT give me the time of day and answered my questions inadequately. After I asked a third question she did not provide an answer and hung up on me. Other than that, the staff was fine and the hotel was good, just dont go asking questions and expecting good answers for room reservations.

The beds could be a little more comfortable. The staff could be friendlier. Staff needs to get reservations right and not to argue with customers. Don't uderstand why we had to have 2 different reservation confirmations and have to change out keys on the second day. Especially considering we had the same room. On our second day room service never came by to clean the room or restock supplies such as towels or coffee. I do not feel I have to call to ask for room service to come by to clean the room. Additionally my "Do Not Disturb" sign was not on the door when I left for the day.

Only one has a balcony and it's on the 5th floor
Their pricing changes by season and buy traveler and holidays you have to contact them I will tell you what is the best Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed at
