I recently moved to Altamonte Springs and I found this Planet Fitness near me. My expectations weren't too high so I headed to the facility to check them out. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff (all of them) and the cleanliness of the space as well as the great variety and condition of the equipment. You should try the massage chairs, it is worth the membership cost alone. I signed up and I go 3 to 5 times a week. This is my new happy place. Highly recommended.

We at planet fitness allow people to start working out at 13, but we ask that a parent or guardian please sign a liability form for them. If they are 13 or 14 we also ask that the parent or guardian stay with them while they workout. If they are 13-17 they will need a parent guardian waver signed before working out. If they are 15-17 they will need a parent guardian waver signed but can workout without parent.

No child care at any I've ever visited. Its $10/mo for a regular membership, or $20/mo for a black card. Black card members can bring another adult with them, but the +1 guest can't come on their own.
