You can come into the physical library anytime we are open - the folks at the Check Out Desk will be glad to assist you. Simply bring your photo ID and proof of address (if your current address doesn't match your license, any piece of mail is fine). School IDs are acceptable for students. You do not need to be a Marshfield resident to get a library card. As a popular beach and summer destination, we welcome folks from all over who wish to use our resources! Finally, if you are a resident of Marshfield or a qualifying OCLN community, you may also sign up for a virtual Old Colony Library Network card to just access our virtual resources (https://catalog.ocln.org/client/en_US/marshfield/) - please note that we permit one card per patron. If you think you might already have an account, please call the library and we can help you find the best option. If you have a virtual card, you may convert it to a physical card at the librtary at any time. :)

As long as the hotspot is working, you are permitted to use it as much as you need for the two week check out period. You will only be fined for overdue charges, which are $5 per day. While most of our collections are fine-free, we still charge overdue fees for equipment. In the event of lost or damaged items, you may also be assessed a fee.
