We needed a new washer and dryer and found a decently priced set. Maliek was very friendly and helpful. We decided to buy the set, and couldn't decide on whether or not to get the extended warranty. Generally, nothing goes wrong in the first few years so a warranty is not worth it. He said he could offer us a 10% discount. He also suggested that we could get the warranty on the washer only because it tends to be more expensive to repair and there are more things that could go wrong with it.We still couldn't decide, so he told us we sleep on it and could add the warranty at any time before delivery. I asked him to write the prices down on the sales slip. When I got home, I looked at the prices. The separate prices for washer and dryer did add up to the total for the two he had written down. However, the brochure we had said that a 10% discount would apply on a second item. He had offered the 10% as an incentive to sell us the warranty, when we should have gotten it anyway. Also, I noticed that the warranty for the dryer was more expensive than the washer. I thought that was odd because he said a washer was more expensive to repair. Why would the warranty be cheaper on the more expensive item with the more expensive repairs? This is why I don't trust salespeople. Delivery was scheduled for Monday, Sept 5th, likely the third stop. Maliek called about 11:15 and said one of the drivers called in sick and they would not be able to deliver. We rescheduled for Tuesday and he assured me we would be the first stop, sometime between 11:30 and 12:30. At noon that day, I called for an update. He apologized and said there was a problem with the gas card so the drivers were delayed but were on their way. He asked how far I was from the store - I said 10 minutes. Half an hour later I called back for a status. He apologized and said the drivers must have misunderstood him and were making another delivery first. I told him I needed delivery by 3:00pm because I wouldn't be home after that time. He assured me the set would be delivered before 3:00. The driver called a few minutes later and said they would be at my house in 20 to 30 minutes. They did arrive 30 minutes later. I wasn't expecting them to hook up the set - I was appreciative that they hooked them up as much as they were able. The drain hose from the washer and the dryer vent duct both needed extensions that they said they weren't supposed to do. That was fine with me - I had planned on hooking both up myself anyway.

I had made a visit to the American Freight (Sears Outlet) today. During my visit when I walked into the establishment I was not greeted or even acknowledged. I waited in line when the manager Joe walked away from the counter as soon as we were up next to be taken care of we ended up leaving the establishment and going to the American Freight on fuller road where they took amazing care of us and treated us with respect

Salesperson seemed disinterested in job. Purchased freezer 8/4 for delivery on 8/8 received text messages that my freezer would be delivered 8/4 between 11:30am and 6:00pm one small issue is I received the text at 6:03pm. Fast forward to Monday when asked were my freezer might be we told that the sales person put in the wrong delivery date. I then asked why did I receive text messages about delivery after their normal hours of delivery. A lot of I don't know, we have no control over, those are questions for corporate. They are supposed to deliver 8/9 we will see. I would not recommend doing any business with company

All the times I have been there I have not seen a replacement part section or any indication that replacement parts are sold.

No. Both Sears Outlet and the new American Freight Appliance, Furniture, Mattress are completely separate entities from Sears and Sears' parent company TransformCo. In fact, starting in late April, we will no longer use the Sears Outlet name and it will be removed entirely from all of our materials and business operations.

Best to do a price comparison, with other stores, such as Home Depot located at same annex. Wal-Mart, or Lowe's. SEARS can be a little pricey.
This store is open 7 days a week. They just recently moved their location and are now located in the upper section of Crossgates Commons (next to Panera Bread).
