I am a former ET2, CTM2, US Navy intelligence, Gulf Wartime Service medal recipient, Good Conduct medal recipient and Sharp Shooter. I am proud to pronounce that and I am prouder yet of the professionals st this VA facility. They do not have to take walk-ins. It is not an urgent care facility and technically, if you can believe it, I am suppose to go to SYRACUSE for urgent care! Absurd for sure. But Dr. Pitel, my primary at the facility and her team, knew that I do not visit them often enough and if I was there, something was wrong! They took me in, got my xrays, blood work & other labwork, EKG, and more within two hours AND on their lunch. I could not have been more pleased with my VA healthcare on this day! This was a great day for me and a testament to our countries commitment to the veterans.

There is no pharmacy at the clinic. Only some meds for urgent/emergencies.
From what I understand as long as you're a va pt you can get it at any facility and for scrips they send them via mail since there is pharmacy at the Rome clinic it comes from the syracuse va hospital pharmacy
Military VETERANS' clinic. Fixing kittens is not on their current list of services provided 🙂
Go to the clinic and ask to see Rowe Wheeler. He can get you your card.
