Obtaining healthcare over the past two years has been a struggle. I was an existing patient of Dr. Choma when I recently had a new issue. I expected to wait months to be seen, I expected to leave voice messages asking for an appointment and a long wait for a response. Instead, I called and was able to speak to his nurse to describe my issue, she consulted with him, got back to me with a scheduled appointment for Ari Fisher and it was within a couple of days. Ari was very kind and reassuring while he literally walked me through the next steps and appointments. Once the tests were completed all of the results and communication happened through the patient portal. All questions asked and answered had a response within 24 hours. Most often I would receive a response well after the work day had ended, or should have ended. I am so grateful for the excellent care that I have received from Ari Fisher, Dr. Choma and Dr. Polito, but also for the support staff who were always friendly and helpful.

First of all, you cannot get through to the office telephonically. Ever. Once you do get an appointment, you never get to see the doctor. Always an NP. Then, you are repeatedly told the same thing and symptoms never get better. Perhaps this is the new way for healthcare: you mention your symptom to a provider…provider looks up a “safe” response in a book (online)….they tell you to eat better and get more exercise (as if you didn’t try that already 😊)…and nothing gets any better. As a better alternative, they should take much more interest in discovering and addressing the causes of the symptoms. I have waited a year and a half before giving this poor review to see if I would experience any improvement but sadly have not. Im sorry to say but this provider gives very disappointing healthcare.

If you need a doctor to help you figure out what’s wrong, go somewhere else! They make a lot of promises and make a lot of plans for you and your insurance money but have no follow through. You go in trying to figure out what’s wrong and you leave the same way!
