I grew up going to a non denominational Christian Church. It was in a big, boring room with no history and folding chairs. The services were chaotic and eventually pushed me away from organized Christianity (to my mother's dismay). It's rare I visit churches, although this was my second time in St. George's and I could certainly feel a spiritual heaviness tied in with the buildings history and beautiful architecture. The wedding service I was there for went off without a hitch and the Father's were kind and helpful. I consider going to a service, for the first time in years.

A wonderful Christian community. Old school but contemporary. Saint George's has a long history of beautiful liturgy in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. If you like beautiful vestments, incense, high church liturgy, and grand organ and choir music, this is the place for you. Along with excellence in liturgy, we also strive for vibrant and substantive preaching. St. Georges is a place to grow in your understanding of the Christian faith and Holy Scripture. There are lots of opportunities for Christian education including a regular Bible Study at 9 a.m. on Sundays and Theology on Tap which meets at the Van Dyck Restaraunt and Lounge on the last Thursday of the month. Check the calendar for details. We are an intimate and joyful community for people of all ages. We have a small but dedicated Sunday school where children are taught to love and follow Jesus. Regardless of who you are, or where you are on your spiritual journey, you would absolutely be welcome at Saint George's!
