This place is a JOKE. A total scam. I had recently had an in-house sleep study done by a different provider. My doctor sent a referral to Advent Health Sleep Center to read the report and make any needed recommendations, etc. This office called me to set up an appointment. During the call they asked for my insurance information, which I gave to them. When I went to the appointment, they again asked for my insurance info and even made copies of the insurance card. The appointment itself lasted only a few minutes. Samantha Sugerman looked at the report from the home study, which was brief, and told me that it was poor quality and that I needed an in-house study done. I said ok and the appointment was over. NOTHING was accomplished at the appointment! Today I get a bill for the entire amount. I was confused so I contacted my insurance company and found out that they were not in my network. This makes me a self-pay client of theirs and they new it, but refused to disclose that to me. TWICE this office took my insurance information and NOT ONCE DID THEY TELL ME THAT THEY WERE OUT OF NETWORK. They are a TOTAL SCAM!! This is unprofessional and unethical. In taking my insurance info and not saying anything they misled me to believe that they took my insurance and were in network. I will NEVER step foot in this place again.

On Mar 1, 22 I had my sleep study at the Apopka location and all went well. On Mar 10, 22 I had my follow up with Corrie, Marie Bigi, RN and I was please with the consultation. However, Ms. Corrie mentioned that as a new patient I would get a call from AdvenHealth for my CPAP supplies and as of this date and time no has called. Additionally, I called the Sleep Center and waited for about 15 minutes and no one answer and their answering machine kept highlighting Covid 19 issues.

You should be able to go to the adventhealth.com website to see the insurances they accept Hope that helps
I had to be there by 8pm.
It might be required by your insurance for coverage, but I'm fairly sure that the sleep center will see you without one.
