Just returned from second visit in the last week. Didn't have appointments either time, but wait was short. Both times was helped by Ms. Cortez, and so happy with her service. She was understanding, professional, and easy to talk to. I really appreciate her work and efforts in rectifying my issue.

Have not been since they opened back up but they did have a system going before. Get there early enough to get your business taken care of!!

Miss Cortes was so rude and condescending. Was not helpful at all and her attitude was unnecessary. I asked for her manager and was denied. I called 2x and was disconnected to begin with just to get an employee who obviously didn't want to help me and didn't want to be at work. She told me her mngr was named "Nieves" and that there was no call back procedure and then she hung up. I called back spoke with miss Ginger and she was SO HELPFUL SO NICE and was able to realize that the address was mis keyed on YOUR END. She updated my address and fir me a new card out. I've been in CS for 13 years, active listening, patience & understanding BEFORE responding goes a long way! Nobody wants to sit on hold for 20-40 minutes to begin with so finally getting someone and then being rude is DISGUSTING. Shout out to Ginger!!!! Thank you for your help!

The citizen who serves as security at the door (public servant) Latino, a person who has very bad service to answer, I thought he did not have a good day the first time, but today I reiterate that he did not... It is the attitude he has on a daily basis.. ..in terms of customer service, Miss K. I never knew her name, but her box is #17. She is the only person that I see that helps you with everything you need. She is very helpful and seeks to help you with whatever you need. at your fingertips.

Just moved to Florida from Indiana. I have a pending case in Marion County Indianapolis in. Should I make an appointment here in Lakeland to check in with them or what ?
Wow. Im confused. So you want to receive a monthly ss payment? for your first decieased husband because you got divorced to the second one? Money we all get taxed for? I dont think so and I certainly hope not. If so the US needs to fix that. If he is deceased why do you need the money? You weren't the one on social security. Even if he was military... I'm pretty sure it hold the same rules and regulations as Alimony. You got remarried all past spousal support is void. Although if you had children with your first husband in certain circumstances your children could receive ss payment or something similar. If you had children with your second husband they would not receive the same benefits. I suggest if you need money, you work like the rest of us or you can just apply for ss for yourself. I truly do not understand the logic behind your question. Really hope there are other circumstances you failed to mention in your question because idk smh so many not nice options of your character.
If no name changes and you are 18 or older go to myssa.gov and you don't need anything. Just set up an account. The wait times are long if you go to the office.
Some things can be completed online such as retrieving a copy of your earnings statement or request a replacement social security card. Other services require office visit. Appointments and walk ins.
Only 1800 772 1213
Yes you can.
My wife passed on Sept 9 , 2018 but the continue deposit her check. Funeral home assures he that they informed SS. Please advise me
I would go to the social Security office to see how they could possibly help you they might be able to go ahead and put your parents on Social Security to get you paid that away
I retired at 62. You might be able to. However, the amount you will receive monthly is less than 65 or 67. Call your local S.S. office.
Open a myssa.gov account.
You have to physically go down to your local office and bring proof of who you are,,, at least two picture id's and they do not accept copies
Me too 😠
You can but there is no guarantee you will get in. Appointments go first and then it's on a first come first served basis. Better to get there early in the morning when they open
You have to call an make an appointment as most is over the phone
On line only
No
No they are only able to help over the phone
You'll have to update your address online.. the social security office is NOT open to the public due to covid.
No it's closed to the public unless it's extremely important and urgent. You have to set an appointment for those. Depending on the service needed, they can still do certain things through the mail, like replace your SSC.
No posted date. You have to call the number and they assist you by phone.
My friend couldn't because she hasn't worked in so long.
Now
Go and file the paper work
I do believe you have to call to make apptmt. I didn't find anything about online apptmts.
You can go on line and make appointment or call the office or just go over there and wait in line and then wait inside, good luck
Yes you cant
Yes takes 5-7 days to get from mail.
No tell the guard you have an appointment
Your spouse can add You to his case and You should be able to draw monies off their SSI.
Call SS
Yes, through MySSA.gov if you are not making any changes like a last name due to marriage. To set up an account you must be 18 or older. There is no charge for a social security card so do not mistakenly go to a website that charges you and asks for copies of your personal documents and states they will get you a card for you. No one can get your card but you.
Go straight to Social Security office, they can correct it right away
Yes
On January 3rd. normally
You don't need a single appointment, go and ask for one. Number
Yes
Claire, that info is wrong. Create a myssa.gov account and you can so it from the comfort of your home. Or go to your local social security office and wait 2 hours.
Another question..how do I make an appointment since there are no numbers for the Lakeland office?
Yes go to your local social security office and update your changes.
Go to your local social security office.
I dont believ you can. I believe you have to take in proof of address. although, i may be wrong
Yes but they stop taking people an hour before they close.
