With the advent of mega-stores, malls, online shopping, and electronic devices one would not think that bookstores are making a resurgence. Thankfully, they are. Riverstone is doing it right. They support local talent. The staff actually read books and are knowledgeable. They are friendly, but not pushy. I love overhearing staff talk about the different authors, stories they've read, or even written. While the locations are small you won't regret stopping in and nerding out over some books. If they don't have it, they are always happy to order it.

The store itself is cozy and charming with ever-changing displays and recommendations, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. They offer quality, year-round gift-wrapping, and they put a lot of care into what they do. It’s a great place to shop for yourself, find gifts, and or get gift cards for others because the store is such a pleasant experience.

I love this local bookstore. The staff are delightful people and always willing to help you find a book in store or order it for you. There’s a great selection of books (love to see how the sci fi section has grown over the years). They even have cards, candies, little gifts so you can find something for everyone.
