Extremely clean and the animals look very well taken care of. People there were very nice and helpful.

No signage no help to speak of after l came twice to a house 15911. Then she would not let me see any animals. Told me to make any appointment. Nothing on the website about that. Just wrong 😑 just tried to call no answer won’t accept a message box full. Unacceptable!

Very disappointed. Communication and professionalism lacking. Inquired about a dog for over a month, filled out 2 applications and sent numerous emails and phone calls to set up an appointment to meet the dog...ignored by all. Today, the dog is off the website. Not a good way to do business.

They have bunnies at the Chain Bridge Road location. Call that location for information.
Good morning Rayne, we do our best to reach out and answer questions on here. We do have 2 separate facilities, and have members trying to answer each related question about each facility. Was there a question you had regarding anything specific about an animal or our processes?
Do you neuter dogs and if so what is the cost for a 6 month old male Yorkie?
I know they have cats st the Fairfax City location. Not sure how they receive animals, though
Absolutely Scott. We always look to get new volunteers for our organization. In order to get volunteer at this location, we ask individuals to apply on our main website at HSFC.org and fill out a volunteer application. From there we will set up an orientation date at our farm facility to give you a little background information about our facility and lay out what our policies and procedures are.
You can call 703-385-pets, and speak with the Fairfax humane society about surrendering your dog. Good luck with your tough decision.
You can't keep your pet dog you got so if they can't take it in you are going to kill it?...
