Not easy to get into, but a nice paddle. Easy to get lost if you are directionally challenged.

This is one of my all time favorite places. Besides the fact that it's a bird sanctuary it has amazing walking trails, and the history of the place is also amazing

Really beautiful place that I will definitely be returning. Florida is so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

Nicely kept trails, canoe/kayak launches, good fishing, great excercise, fresh air sunshine and no crowds. The do a super job of keeping the trails up.

Used to be, but last time i tried the trail connecting the left and right trail was impassable
Hi Sam, there are no sloths at the Ulumay Wildlife Sanctuary. Some of the animals that you can spot along the trails include alligators, snakes, and multiple species of birds.
I have never had an issue bringing my pet, she's both on and off leash trained. Everyone who's out there including city workers have seen me with my pet and others with their pets and have never said anything. The sign does state that there should be no animals, but no one pays attention to that
It's pretty good, lots of wildlife! Summer, early morning, cooler weather, go anytime!!
Sure, gotta bring your own though.
I am interested in seeing migratory birds. Wondering when they are at their peak at the park.
