What an amazing experience! The folks that run this place are absolutely wonderful. They were very helpful in helping us learn about the kayak before letting us out on our own. They seemed genuinely more concerned that we had a good experience than watching the clock for when our time started or trying to sell us another good or service! Highly recommend this place for all of your kayaking needs.

Great place to rent a single or double kayak. You can also do paddle-boards if you are up for it. Paddle around the kelp beds and find some sea otters. We counted at least 18 when we went out. Occasionally a dolphin may pass. Paddle by Smith Island which is covered w Brown Pelicans and Cormorants. You can also beach beach the kayak and hike 5 min to the lighthouse. Beautiful!

We LOVE dogs, but they not permitted on Fisherman's Beach (next to our shop) or at the beach/lighthouse area (the most scenic and popular area for our rentals). To get the most out of your experience, it's best to leave the pups at home.
