Good prices. Great Captain and Mate. Super fun. Caught our limits.

This place was a lot of fun. Took the team there for a fishing trip and we all had a blast. The staff at the location in Alvila are as grumpy as you'd expect fisherman to be, and I mean that in a charming way. On the boat the staff was great and took us all over the bay. Please remember to make sure your party knows to bring tip money and money for them to filet your catch. My party did not remember this even with multiple reminders and I cannot stress enough how had the crew works for you and deserves these tips!

This crew is the best. Hanna helped everyone and kept the fishing going with a minimum of interruption. Everyone caught a limit . Great Experience!

Great day on the Flying fish. Despite fish that act like they are dieting, captain Wayne and his crew got us the fish, I think pretty much everyone got their limits

He doesn't speak Spanish
Bring a variety, the skipper will vary the sites and depths according to currents, sea state and local knowledge...Don't be shy: ask the crew for input!
You can rent poles for a seperate fee.
The last day for rock fish is December 31st
12/31/18 rockcod season
Depends on which boat you go on, how long the trip lasts and the age of the fisherman. Patriot is the cheapest boat and the phenix is the most expensive but you get what you pay for. I recommend the phenix, captain Kyle will get you on the best fishing in the area and you'll come home with plenty of fish in the bag. If you want to save a little bit of money and still have a good experience try the flying fish with captain Wayne. Great crew, fast boat and still gets you on quality fish. The patriot on the other hand, the captain is arrogant and lazy, puts you on schools of small fish and sits on his phone all day while customers struggle to catch fish bigger than their own hand. The boat rates vary day to day and are on the booking page
You are definitely going to need deep sea fishing gear. If you don't have any you can always rent all the equipment at Patriots Sportfishing. It might be tough for you to find a charter boat in the weekend I usually Reserve ahead of schedule. But they're in the week There's plenty of room. With the rod rental and hook setup with a one-day license you looking around $30. Now here's a tip that might get you the jackpot. The big fish are at the bottom don't let your weight set in the bottom because you will get stuck. When you drop your line let it hit the bottom Crank It Up about three or four turns and then you want 2 tap the bottom every now and then. That's how I caught my Link Card. Now when they bite they bite lightly because they're so far down they can't pull down on your line so they take your line and swim sideways so you won't feel the pool until you're bringing them up. Good luck and I hope you have a great time fishing. Look it up Patriot Sportfishing out of Avila Beach
You can rent poles and purchase tackle at patriot sport fishing. If you bring your own this is a recommendations for the phenix boat which also leaves out of patriot sportfishing. http://phenixsportfishing.com/trip-information--what-to-bring.html
No, not a good area
They are closed for fishing now. Will resume in April I believe. Doing whale watching till the season starts again
Only on the sly, don't get caught, better to bring a pint and take a shot now and then!!
Yes, you can purchase breakfast burrito and hamburger for lunch. $6. Beer $3 water $1
Give them a call, the web site shows the boats they have and the number of people they hold. It usually works out to about 50$ US a person. Unless you charter a 50 person boat for 25 people
