They removed the lone pinic table about 2 years ago. I see people lunching on top of the tall viewing platforms less than .2 miles from the entrance.
No picnic tables or coverage. It’s really out in nature. However, if you go on the trail for about a mile there is a two story bird watching post where you can sit on the stairs or the second floor. Again no designated seating.
