This is a great place to hike if you love to hike I personally trained to attend a Philmont 12 day trek on this trail. The scenery can get repetitive but for a one time hike this trail would be great. The river is only 2.5 miles down the trail from the trailhead so this would be a great hike for most ages.

So talented. Wish we were able to preserve this section of trail better. There are lots of weeds, vines and areas are overgrown.

The bridge is open and not covered by water. There are some short sections of the trail with standing water that you can easily walk around.
No, not really. There are a lot of roots not otherwise it's even. Well marked too. I'd still wear hiking boots though because it can be muddy
No open handgun carry. Hunting rifles with a hunting permit during hunting season in specific areas only. Any further questions, call FWC.
Frank you don't know what your talking about.. I Called the Flagler trail offices and the told me that they adhere to state laws and that they will not prevent me from open carrying a handgun
