No, not really. There are a lot of roots not otherwise it's even. Well marked too. I'd still wear hiking boots though because it can be muddy
It's also about 2 miles straight before branching off into some very technical and challenging bike trails. I'm a trail runner, so it works for me..
This trail runs on an old railroad bed. There are some roots and ruts if you're riding a bike, though. The 2 bridges at the river are still both closed. Check out the photos on Google maps.
